The Brief
AVS required fast turnaround stainless steel fan guard fabrication for a large industrial factory installation, with fan guards needing to meet strict safety and hygiene requirements and be ready to fit directly onto the client’s air circulation and extraction fans on site.
Solutions Delivered
Eagle Wire’s CAD department produced drawings for client approval before fabrication began. Once signed off, 5.0mm stainless steel wire was cut to precise lengths on Eagle Wire’s high-speed cutting machines, then rolled and bent to form the frames. With the frames complete, 3.15mm stainless steel wire was unwound directly from the coil and spot welded to each frame to create the finished fan guard.
All 40 units were then acid-cleaned to remove welding marks, delivering a clean, sharp finished product ready for installation. Once packed, the fan guards were shipped to AVS and installed directly onto their air circulation and extraction fans, meeting the necessary safety requirements for the factory environment.
Outcome
AVS received 40 finished, installation-ready fan guards within a tight timeframe. Eagle Wire’s in-house capability across CAD, cutting, fabrication, welding, and finishing meant the entire process was managed under one roof, with no need for the client to coordinate across multiple suppliers.
